Phb Channel Dredged from Jl. Kramat to Salemba Raya

Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-Agency personnel dredged connecting (phb) channel from Jalan Kramat until Salemba Raya, Senen Sub-district since the third week of September.

We start the dredging from connecting channel on Jalan Kramat Soka, Kramat Bunder, Kembang Pacar, and Pal Putih

Senen Sub-district SDA Unit Head, M. Rohman mentioned, channel dredging was carried out in four points thus inundation could be prevented to occur along Jalan Kramat Raya.

"We start the dredging from connecting channel on Jalan Kramat Soka, Kramat Bunder, Kembang Pacar, and Pal Putih," he said, Wednesday (10/7).

This channel has length about 800 meters with width and height about 2 meters. According to him, this work is targeted to finish in early November.

"We dredge mud sedimentation to the bottom of the channel or about 50 centimeters to 1.5 meters deep," he conveyed.

He expected this dredging can anticipate inundation along the east side of Jalan Kramat Raya during the rainy season.

"By dredging it, we hope it can increase its capacity," he closed.
